Arizona Adventures: Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, AZ

Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I'm excited for today's post because I get to share the fun adventure I had to celebrate accepting the job offer. I didn't have a lot of time between the acceptance and my first day so I decided very quickly that while I had the time, I wanted to get up to Phoenix to check out the Desert Botanical Garden. I'm really glad that I took the drive up there to check it out because I had a great time! It was a perfect day and the gardens were beautiful.

I truly love the desert so much. I think it is absolutely beautiful.

The gardens are located right near the Hole in the Rock and there were some very cool views of it from the gardens. It was really fun to see the landmark as the backdrop.

I LOVE this view of the Hole in the Rock.

This was a cool sculpture near the entrance of the gardens. I loved this angle of it.

As many of you know, butterflies are very special to me. They had a butterfly area and I was able to be surrounded by them.

At one point a butterfly landed on me and I felt like Doug was there celebrating this victory with me.

The whole experience was really nice and I'm so glad I was able to go on this mini adventure before getting back into the grind. I'm so grateful to have gotten past this difficult spot and look forward to rebuilding and to sharing more adventures with you.

Thank you for stopping by and for checking out this adventure! I hope you're all doing well and can't wait to share my next adventure! 💜

  1. Hi!!! I have a bit of catching up to do on your posts. First congratulations on the new job. I had not realized that you were on your last leg before the offer but I am so glad to hear that it sounds like a good fit. When I saw a butterfly pic in your previous post it warmed my heart to think of our beloved Doug. It really does feel like he is sharing in your accomplishments and new beginning. Here is to a 2025 filled with new adventures, great vegan food, and family and friendships. You deserve all the best - Sri
